A good five weeks after a fatal attack on a 34-year-old in Leipzig, two teenagers and two young men from Berlin were arrested.

After extensive investigations, there were indications of the group of perpetrators, the public prosecutor’s office and the police said on Monday. The suspects are between 14 and 20 years old.

The two youngest (14 and 16 years) come from Romania and Russia, the two 18 and 20 year olds are German. Arrest warrants have been issued for all four.

The quartet is accused of robbery resulting in death. According to prosecutors, they are said to have addressed the 34-year-old Indian citizen in his car. Then the man was so badly injured by two people that he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital two days later. Cash and valuables were stolen from the victim after the attack.
