The perpetrator, who stabbed four people at the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, was overwhelmed by students in a lecture hall and held until the police arrived. The man is a 34-year-old, said a police spokesman. It is still unclear whether he himself is or was a student at the university.
