The German team of national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg has shown a very good performance in the previous European Championship. But the French are also among the favourites. The European Championship semifinals this Wednesday evening between Germany and France in Milton Keynes should be exciting.

Kick-off is at 9 p.m., the preliminary reporting begins at 8:15 p.m.

The ZDF live stream and the sports studio live stream are identical in terms of content. The transmission rate and the resolution are also the same.

The only advantage of the sports studio stream: It offers links to the top scenes so that football fans can watch them again.

The advantage of the classic TV transmission is that, in contrast to the stream, there is no delay in the transmission. Viewers of sports streams know the problem: while the neighbors are already cheering loudly, the ball on their own screen is only on its way to the goal.

Sven Voss moderates in the ZDF studio. The ice hockey player and former soccer player Kathrin Lehmann is there as an expert. Guest is Kim Kulig, assistant coach at VfL Wolfsburg and former German international. The game will be commented on by Claudia Neumann.

If you have a paid subscription to the DAZN sports service, you can also watch Germany vs France here. Reporting begins at 8:40 p.m. Commentator is Jan Platte, expert is Laura Benkardt. DAZN costs EUR 29.99 per month (or EUR 24.99 per month with an annual subscription).

Today’s winning team will play England in the final of the European Championship on Sunday. The English team previously defeated Sweden in a 4-0 spectacle.

The final game will be played at the legendary Wembley Stadium. Kick-off is at 6 p.m., the broadcast begins at 5.30 p.m. on the first. A live stream is also offered here.

9.5 million people watched the quarter-final game between Germany and Austria in the first.

That was a strong market share of 38.2 percent, the most successful TV show of the day – and the largest reach of a women’s European Championship game on German television to date.
