In a Forsa survey, the SPD has slipped to its worst value since the federal election. In the RTL/ntv “Trendbarometer” published on Tuesday, Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s party only received an approval rating of 17 percent.

This was one percentage point less than last week. The Left, on the other hand, improved by one percentage point to five percent.

The values for the Union (26 percent), the Greens (25 percent), the FDP (seven percent) and the AfD (eleven percent) did not change. As in the previous week, it remained at nine percent for the other parties.

In the survey, only ten percent of all Germans assume that economic conditions in Germany will improve in the coming years. A large majority – 76 percent – expects things to get worse. Twelve percent expect no change.
