In contrast to other districts, Lichtenberg has not yet set up any parklets on former parking areas. But now it’s a premiere in terms of street furniture: Two wooden modules have been installed in front of the district shop “iKarus” on Heiligenberger Straße in Karlshorst. The parklet still looks a bit bare, but it is still being planted.

You can read more about this in our district newsletter from Lichtenberg. And in Treptow-Köpenick it’s not just building permits that are a long time coming, but also parental allowance. More topics from the two newsletters are listed below.

Our district newsletters, which now have more than 265,000 subscriptions throughout Berlin, bring you the latest and background information from your district. For us, the week always begins with Lichtenberg and Treptow-Köpenick. You can order our newsletter from these two Berlin districts, like all other district newsletters from the Tagesspiegel, free of charge here: tagesspiegel.de/bezirke

Incidentally, in our newsletters from Lichtenberg and Treptow-Köpenick and of course in all other district people newsletters from the Tagesspiegel, you can refer to birthdays or other anniversaries of friends, life partners, relatives, neighbors, colleagues, business partners, etc. or even a few yourself nice words congratulations.
