The Berlin derby in the Bundesliga between 1. FC Union and Hertha BSC takes place on Saturday afternoon. On August 6 at 3:30 p.m. (Sky), both clubs will start the 60th Bundesliga season in the An der Alten Försterei stadium, as the German Football League (DFL) announced on Friday.
A week later, Hertha hosts Eintracht Frankfurt for their first home game in the Olympic Stadium, also in the afternoon. Union has to play at FSV Mainz a day later (3:30 p.m.). The DFL has scheduled the first seven match days until mid-September.
