Due to the nationwide strike by Lufthansa pilots, almost all of the airline’s flights were canceled at BER this Friday. The passengers were apparently informed in good time, the airport company said on request. Most of them didn’t even come to BER. Lufthansa flies from Schönefeld exclusively to the domestic German destinations of Frankfurt and Munich.
The company had canceled almost all flights from there and there due to the strike. Nationwide, around 800 connections should fail as a result. Around a dozen flights were affected at BER. According to Lufthansa, the effects of the strike can still be felt at the weekend.
