According to statisticians, the proportion of women has always been well below 10 percent over the past ten years.

In 2021, a total of 1904 Berliners were sentenced, it was said. In Brandenburg there were 1704. According to statisticians, the fewest cases in recent years were in Brandenburg in 2014 (1021 convicts) and in Berlin in 2012 (1314).
