The Panthers’ inactive roster for today’s match against the Dolphins has definitively answered any doubts that rookie receiver Terrace Marshall was a disappointment.
Marshall is not injured but is still inactive.
Marshall has only 14 catches for 116 yards this season and no touchdowns. Marshall has been passed by Shi Smith a fellow rookie receiver . Shi Smith is a sixth-round selection who hasn’t played much but is still active today while Marshall rests.
The Panthers, 5-6, hope to be able to compete for an NFC wildcard berth in the last six games of the season. Marshall might not be available if they are able to make that run.
