With two photos, the Berlin police are looking for a previously unknown man who is said to have hit another man in February 2021 and also shown the Hitler salute.

As the police announced on Monday, the suspect was traveling on a U5 train on February 21, 2021 when he attacked another passenger at around 5:10 p.m.

Between the Wuhletal and Louis-Lewin-Straße stops in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district, he is said to have hit the man in the face with his flat hand. He also insulted and threatened him. Afterwards he is said to have shown the Nazi salute.

According to the police, while the attacked person then continued on the train, the suspect got off at the Louis-Lewin-Strasse stop.

Who knows the alleged thug? The Berlin criminal police is asking anyone who can provide information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to get in touch.
