The Ramadan prayer of Walid Mahsas, imam and reciter of the Koran in Bordj Bou Arreridj (Algeria), went around the world this week. The reason ? A cat stole the show by jumping on the imam before climbing on his shoulder and then rubbing against his face.
Despite the slightly too intrusive presence of his guest, the imam remained unfazed. His benevolent attitude towards the feline has also been praised on social networks.
