Two previously unknown perpetrators threatened and injured an 85-year-old woman with a gun on Saturday morning in Berlin-Halensee. The police announced on Sunday.

According to the information, the two men threatened the elderly woman at around 11:30 a.m. at her apartment door with a gun and pushed her into her apartment on Kurfürstendamm.

One of the two men held the woman on a sofa, slapped her in the face, choked her and demanded that valuables be handed over. Meanwhile, his accomplice is said to have searched the living quarters.

The duo then fled. In front of the apartment building, the strangers met a passerby who they hit several times in the face. The two suspected robbers then continued their escape undetected in the direction of Karlsruher Strasse.
