In may ambulance driver in Iskitim 41-year-old Oleg Vakhrushev felt bad: there are unusual fatigue, shortness of breath. He went to a small hospital, and when he came out continued to work in risky conditions (transporting people with suspected or confirmed mers). A few days later he got worse. Colleagues-doctors first refused to do the test for the coronavirus, and when Vakhrushev for my money did a CT and found out that he had pneumonia when he was admitted to the hospital. There is finally swabbed for COVID, but the result was negative (although later Vakhrushev passed a paid test for antibodies and it was positive). What symptoms he had, why the tests contradicted each other and how he fought for their health — Oleg Vakhrushev told the medical observer NGS Maria Tishchenko.
“Took a SIP of coffee — thought it was salt water.” The story of the ambulance driver who recover from COVID-19
