Sandro Schwarz is the new coach of Hertha BSC. The Berlin Bundesliga club confirmed the commitment of the 43-year-old on Thursday, who will receive a two-year contract. Previously, Schwarz was at Dynamo Moscow, he had been traded as a possible successor to Felix Magath for days.

“When I was looking for a new coach for Hertha BSC, I focused not only on technical qualities but also on enthusiasm, passion and emotionality. Sandro showed all of that during his time at FSV Mainz 05 and also at Dynamo Moscow,” said Sporting and Managing Director Fredi Bobic on Thursday.
