(Kigali) A total of 127 people have been killed “to date” in floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in three regions of Rwanda, the presidency announced in a statement on Wednesday.
Relief operations are underway in the West, North and South provinces, in particular to allow “ the evacuation and temporary relocation of residents of affected and high-risk areas while the rains continue ”, adds the Presidency.
