Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg can be happy, three of its television productions have been awarded a Grimme Prize 2022: the fictional series “Tina Mobil”, the documentary series “Charité intensive: Station 43” and the “Chez Krömer” episode with a guest Torsten Sträter.

In general, the ARD broadcasters are the big winners of this year’s competition. Eleven of the 16 prizes went to the broadcaster network across all genres, across the linear program and the media library. Above all, actor and director Bjarne Mädel, who was awarded two prizes for very different fictional material – “Delivered” and “Sörensen hat Angst – and also made his directorial debut in the Sörensen film.

Katrin Eigendorf (ZDF) received the Grimme Prize for Special Journalistic Achievement for her “excellent reporting on the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan”. Another award in the information category
