Almost half of the summer holidays are over and many parents are asking themselves: How on earth am I going to keep my child (or the plural form of it) busy for the next three weeks?
You’ve been to the outdoor pool twelve times, you’ve already visited your grandparents, and your summer vacation is already over. It’s good that the adult education centers still have a few offers up their sleeve to get Max, Emma and Paul through the holidays.
For Berliners, it may even be worth taking a look at neighboring Potsdam: the adult education center there offers, among other things, a workshop with the beautiful title “From student to millionaire”.

There, 14-year-olds are supposed to learn the basics of wealth accumulation and can then certainly invest their dad and mom’s money profitably. The seminar costs 15.40 euros – which will prove to be a bargain for future millionaires and should be the first of many worthwhile investments.
The good news for all Berliners: The Potsdam VHS still reports free places. It remains unclear whether the 14-year-olds in Potsdam simply already know everything about wealth accumulation – or whether they don’t have to worry about it because they’re already on the soft side.
