With several photos, the Berlin police are looking for a man who is said to have attacked a taxi driver at Schöneberg S-Bahn station on March 31, 2022 at around 9:40 p.m.

According to the police report on Thursday, the taxi driver had previously driven the stranger from Richard-von-Weizsäcker-Platz to Schöneberg S-Bahn station, where he stopped at the underpass to let the passenger get off.

When he was supposed to pay for the ride, the passenger suddenly hit the driver’s head with his cell phone and demanded money. According to the police, however, the taxi driver refused to hand over the money and quickly got out of the car to prevent the perpetrator from escaping by locking the passenger door.

The passenger managed to escape from the taxi. A subsequent search by the police at the S-Bahn station was unsuccessful.
