The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance issued a thunderstorm warning for Berlin on Wednesday afternoon. There could be gusts of wind of up to 65 km/h. The warning level “Distinctive weather” applies, the thunderstorm should initially stop in the afternoon.

The German Weather Service (DWD) in Potsdam had already announced in the morning that there could also be heavy rain, hail and stormy gusts. According to the forecast, however, it will remain mostly friendly in the south, with only isolated showers and thunderstorms possible. Towards evening it loosens up again. The maximum values ​​are between 17 and 21 degrees. During the night, temperatures drop to nine to seven degrees.

According to the DWD, Thursday will be sunny, at times cloudy and mostly dry. Towards the evening it clears up further. The temperatures rise to 18 to 21 degrees. During the night it will remain mostly clear and with lows between nine and four degrees it will be cool. In Lusatia, slight ground frost is possible in places.
