Several masked men attacked and shot at a money transporter in Cologne. A police spokesman said bullet casings were found at the scene after the incident on Friday morning.
According to initial findings, no one was injured. It was initially unclear whether the perpetrators made loot. Radio Cologne had previously reported.
According to the police, the perpetrators braked the van around 7.30 a.m. in the Marienburg district. When the doors were not opened, the strangers are said to have fired.
The police were initially unable to say how many security guards were in the money transporter. The perpetrators left one of the two perpetrator vehicles behind and set it on fire. They fled in a dark Mercedes Vito.
