We are happy to see Giovanni continue playing in the polar bear jersey. He’s been an important player for us over the past two seasons, and he’s also been an important part of our special teams. He also had a very positive effect on the team off the ice. So I’m happy that we agreed on a new contract with Gio. We are convinced that he has not yet reached his peak performance

We thank Nicholas for his commitment to the polar bears. He integrated very well into our team right from the start. He always gave everything for the polar bears and a big part in winning the championship. Due to the necessary reorientation in squad planning, Nicholas’ contract was terminated by mutual consent. I wish him and his family all the best for the future.

I’m really excited about signing with the Boston Bruins and can’t wait to get started. Many thanks to the polar bears for the last ten years. They gave me the opportunity to play my first DEL games at the age of 17 and played a big part in my development. Of course, special thanks also go to my family, my coaches and my teammates

We are very proud and incredibly happy for Kai. Every hockey player dreams of signing an NHL contract. Kai has come a long way in recent years and has matured into one of the best defenders in the entire league. His consistently strong performances earned him this contract. This change is also a confirmation of our good work. The polar bears are a very good club for young talent

We’ve been drawn into an attractive and interesting group with good opponents. We’re excited for the games. Our goal is to qualify for the knockout stages.

He is a strong defensive player with leadership qualities who already knows the PENNY DEL very well. He’s a very good two-way defender. He proved that in Düsseldorf, but also in the national team.”
