As the “Spiegel” writes, two children were on Wednesday afternoon in the park “Am Weiher” in Hamburg’s Eimsbüttel district with a metal detector. When it started beeping, they started digging and found the frag grenade. The “Hamburger Abendblatt” reported about it first.
According to the ordnance clearance service, the hand grenade was not transportable. In addition, the bracket was badly rusted, as the fire brigade announced.
