According to US media reports, Jason Alexander, ex-husband of Britney Spears (40), disrupted the final preparations for the pop star’s wedding to her fiancé Sam Asghari (28). Alexander invaded the property near Los Angeles on Thursday, where the wedding was to take place, according to specialized media such as “Variety” or “TMZ”.

Alexander apparently filmed and live-streamed himself on Instagram as he revealed to a security guard that he had been invited.

“Where’s Britney?” he says in the video, before walking through the garden into a pink tent decorated with flowers and introducing himself by name. In the tent, the last wedding preparations were apparently just finished.

According to “TMZ” there was an altercation with fisticuffs, after which the police were called. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said officers were called for trespassing.

Because an arrest warrant was still outstanding against Alexander, he was taken into custody, “Variety” reported.

Spears and Alexander have known each other since childhood. In 2004 they said yes. However, the marriage only lasted 55 hours before it was annulled. The singer was then married to rapper Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children.

Not much was known about the marriage to Asghari. Trade journals only reported on the upcoming wedding a few hours beforehand. Nine months after their engagement, Spears and Ashgari tied the knot.

“I am absolutely thrilled that the day has come and that they are married,” said Asghari’s spokesman Brandon Cohen after the ceremony of the German Press Agency. “I know that he (Asghari) has wished for this for a long time.”

According to media reports, the wedding ceremony took place in front of around 60 guests. According to People.com, singer Madonna, actress Drew Barrymore, reality star Paris Hilton and fashion designer Donatella Versace were invited.
