100 days after the start of the war, Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock promised Ukraine solidarity and support, including additional weapons. In a guest article for “Bild” on Friday, the Green politician wrote: “We will continue to support Ukraine. Until there are no more Butschas left. So that what we take for granted is normal again for the people in Ukraine: a life in freedom.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of the neighboring country on February 24. The complete capture of the eastern Ukrainian regions of Luhansk and Donetsk was repeatedly mentioned as a goal. So far this has not been successful.
