In the Novosibirsk region 18 cases of infection with coronavirus health care workers is recognized as an occupational disease. However, according to Rospotrebnadzora of the Novosibirsk region on June 11, Covid-19 was detected in 549 employees of medical institutions (this number includes physicians and support staff).

Medical organizations of the city of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region, with involvement of experts of the Fund held twenty-five medical Commission for the investigation of cases of medical workers of new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the performance of their employment duties due to the labor relationship with employers. The results of the investigation on June 15 in the office of the Fund for further payment of lump-sum health insurance payments was sent on 18 certificates — the Fund reported.
