15 July, Russia completed the first stage of testing a new vaccine against the coronavirus that developed in the Centre of epidemiology and Microbiology, Gamalei. Efficacy of the drug was tested on eighteen volunteers. As a reward for the research they have to pay about 100 thousand rubles. Three of the participants in the vaccine trials, told about his health after almost six weeks of isolation in Sechenovskiy University.
According to the head of the Center for clinical studies of medicines Helena Smolyarchuk, the injection was performed in the deltoid muscle in the shoulder, and it is no different from the usual intramuscular injection. The volunteers were in hospital wards and were divided into two groups. The first group received only one dose of vaccine, the second a double.
