Biography 28/01/20 frame of primaverili Shukshin: the mystery of the origin of the Soviet writer

the roots of the famous actor, Director and writer Vasily Shukshin is not Altai. And the owner knew about it, wanted to find out more about the past of their ancestors. But didn’t the pedigree studied after the death of Shukshin admirers of his work.

Researcher biography of Vasily Shukshin Alexey Varlamov in the book “Shukshin” wrote that the ancestors of the actor, Director, screenwriter and writer – Russified Mordvinians, both on the paternal and on the maternal side. This so-called Moksha – Mordovian separate ethnic group. Soviet linguist Dmitry Bobrik wrote that about moksana mentioned by Herodotus.
Shukshina called the most famous macshannon. There is another ethnic group Mordovians – Erzyan (Erzya), which glorified the sculptor Stepan Erzya.
according to Alexey Varlamov, the ancestors settled Shukshin in Altai in the XIX century, having moved from Samara province. Museum Director V. Shukshin Anastasia Pryakhin, who knew this family, the author of the pedigree of the writer, actor and Director, reported that his maternal ancestors of Maria Popova was Sukshinda “from one geographical district” Samara province.
Ethnic details pedigree Shukshina with respect to its ancestors in the monograph Anastasia Pryakhina describes in passing, about the Moksha roots is almost not spoken, the emphasis is on biographical description of ancestors. Pryakhin reported that father Makar Shukshin, repressed like a fist and shot a 21-year-old age, nature was kind to his wife was treated, to put it mildly, reserved (Shukshin, describing a married Genesis in their “Lubainah”, mentioned that the mother and father “living matter”). A writer in one of the articles mentioned about the resettlement to Altai of their ancestors, focusing on the difficulty of their assimilation in the new lands.

According to the Great Soviet Encyclopedia (athe second thematic article, by the way, an outstanding Russian and Soviet ethnographer Nikolai Mokshin), for the first time about this ethnic group Mordovians – Moksha (South of the Samara region – one of the areas of their habitat) in the historiography mentioned in the XIII century, Willem (Wilhelm) by Rubruk, a Franciscan monk, a missionary, who traveled to ancient Russia.
Michael Goldenkov in the book “Empire. The gathering of Russian lands” described Moksha as the Finno-Ugric ethnic group of the Volga-Perm subgroups, from which, in fact, gave the name of Moscow and the Moscow state. According to the description of Herodotus given by Goldenkova, Moksha clans existed in the Volga region before the fourth century. The token “Moskal”, says Goldenkov is distorted “moksel” (Moksha) – as in Kiev called the representatives of the Finno-Ugric peoples in the thirteenth century. Novelist Goldenkov believes that the etymology of the word “Ryazan” has Mordovian roots – it comes from the name of the nation “Erzya”.
In the thirteenth century, by English Franciscan monk and philosopher Roger bacon, Moksha actively cooperated with the Mongols and successfully participated in the March on the Polish lands, the troops of the Mongol commander Batu (Batu) (in particular, avant-garde Moksha captured Lublin and Salawat).

Mokshanin hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Devyataev managed in 1945 to make a unique escape from Nazi captivity on the trophy “Henkel”. Devyatayev was taken to command the most important information, after checking in the detention camp, he continued to serve in the red army.
Nikolay Merkushkin 7 years, up to 2017года, was the head of the Republic of Mordovia and 5 years – the head of administration of the Samara region, now he is the special envoy of the Russian President.

Among the Moksha, a lot of culture and art, politicians and public figures. The historiography of this sub-ethnic groups are still insufficiently developed. The well-known data on the census population of this ethnic group only of the Soviet period (1989) – 30 years ago Mokshan had 180 thousand people.
