A Laval resident and a Trifluvian were arrested by the Sûreté du Québec for pimping and human trafficking and appeared at the Trois-Rivières courthouse on Wednesday. They could have made more victims across Quebec.

Sébastien Fleurant-Brisson, 32, and Patrick Côté, 41, from Laval and Trois-Rivières respectively, are charged in connection with events that allegedly took place between 2020 and 2022. They reportedly worked in several regions of Quebec. , including Outaouais, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Chaudière-Appalaches and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.

The two men are charged with inducing a person to offer or perform sexual services for consideration, knowingly advertising to offer sexual services for consideration and obtaining material benefit from the provision of sexual services.

They were arrested on Tuesday by the Integrated Pimping Squad (EILP), in collaboration with the Laval Police Service and the Trois-Rivières Police Department, the Sûreté du Québec said in a press release on Friday.

“The investigation tends to show that the suspects may have caused other victims across the province of Quebec,” said the police force.
