Stacey Solomon Reveals Plan to Become Stay-at-Home Mom to Five Children

Stacey Solomon, the 34-year-old Loose Women star, has made a significant announcement regarding her future plans. In a recent interview on the Glad We Had This Chat podcast, Solomon shared her intention to transition into a stay-at-home mother role for her five children. This decision comes as her eldest sons, Zachary and Leighton, have reached important milestones in their lives, prompting Solomon to prioritize spending more time with her younger children, including son Rex and daughters Rose and Belle.

“I definitely feel like I’m at a pivotal moment in my life where Zach is about to leave school and become an adult,” Solomon expressed. “I think I’m at a point in my life where I recognise that I’ve been really busy for his life, and his life is at a really important point, and my second son will get to that point before I know it.”

The television personality, who rose to fame through appearances on The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity, emphasized the desire to be present for her children during these formative years. Solomon highlighted the importance of balancing her personal aspirations with her role as a mother, stating, “I want to be there for my older children, who I think need me now more than ever.”

Solomon also reflected on her career goals, expressing a desire to focus on projects that allow her to work from home for the majority of the time. She acknowledged the internal conflict of wanting to pursue her passions while prioritizing her family, outlining a plan to engage in passion projects outside the house while maximizing time with her children.

“I have to sing for my grandma once a year – she’s already booked me in. That’s about all I’m going to do with the singing career,” Solomon revealed. “And then TV’s also going to be a small circle – all provided I’m lucky enough to carry on doing it.”

As Solomon navigates this new chapter in her life, she aims to strike a balance between fulfilling her personal aspirations and being present for her children. With a renewed sense of self-assurance and reduced “mum guilt,” Solomon is embracing the role of a stay-at-home mom with enthusiasm and dedication.
