Table grapes sold at Rewe are being recalled. Because of a dangerous pesticide, customers should no longer consume the product.

Table grapes available from Rewe are currently the focus of a recall. According to a report from “Productwarning.eu”, the table grapes from the brand “Tafeltrauben Mix – Sweet and Seedless” from Fresh Solutions Netherlands BV are affected. Harmful substances were found in the 500 gram bowl.

If we look more closely, this is a maximum residue level of the active ingredient fenpropathrin, which has been detected in particular in the dark grape variety Sharad. Fenpropathrin is harmful to health and is not approved in Germany.

Customers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it. Instead, it is recommended to exchange the product in a Rewe store as quickly as possible. The purchase price can also be refunded without presenting the receipt. If you have any further questions or uncertainties, please contact customer service at Quality@freshsolutions.de.
