Russian Presidency of the Security Council | “A slap in the face of the international community”

(Kyiv) Russia’s presidency of the UN Security Council, starting Saturday and for a period of one month, is “a slap in the face of the international community”, denounced the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kouleba.

“Russia’s chairmanship of the UN Security Council is a slap in the face of the international community,” he blasted, calling on “current members” of the UN’s executive body “to thwart any Russian attempt to abuse his presidency”.
