(Cayamant) The driver of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) lost his life after an accident in Outaouais on Saturday.
The man in his fifties, who was traveling alone on his mountain bike, would have lost control of it before finding himself stuck below around 4:30 p.m.
People who were with him came to his aid. The accident occurred on Chemin du Lac-à -Magloire in Cayamant, in the MRC of La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau.
The driver from Gatineau was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Hélène St-Pierre.
A collision investigator was dispatched to the scene to analyze the scene.
