The end of the furniture manufacturer Hülsta is sealed. “It is not possible to continue operations due to the lack of economic prospects,” said the provisional insolvency administrator Christoph Morgen on Tuesday in Stadtlohn (North Rhine-Westphalia). With the opening of insolvency proceedings on June 1, operations will cease. “That is very regrettable,” said Morgen, pointing to various restructuring projects in recent years in which the workforce – currently 280 employees – has repeatedly made its contribution.
