Investigators from the National Organized Crime Repression Squad (ENRCO) have been conducting a series of searches since early Wednesday morning against individuals suspected of being part of a drug trafficking network active in the Laurentians and linked to the Hells Angels.

The searches are carried out in seven residences in Saint-Sauveur, Sainte-Adèle, Saint-Jérôme, Piedmont and Lac Prévost.

No arrests are expected. These are searches under investigation.

According to our information, the network could fall under Martin Robert, an influential Hells Angels from the Montreal section which, according to the police, controls drug trafficking in the Laurentians region, and Johnny Fuoco, considered by investigators to be one with his right arms.

Recall that the residences of the two men were raided as part of a major ENRCO narcotics investigation at the end of March.

About forty police officers are participating in the searches on Wednesday morning and the investigation began in January 2021, according to a press release issued by the Sûreté du Québec.

ENRCO’s mandate is to specifically attack the masterminds of organized crime, including members of the Hells Angels. The ENRCO Montreal is made up of police officers from the SQ, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, the Service de police de Laval, police officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police ( RCMP), and members of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
