(QUEBEC) Premier François Legault doesn’t want any of the 15,000 additional asylum seekers Ottawa agreed to take in in exchange for closing Roxham Road under its deal with the United States.

During a press briefing on Monday, Mr. Legault wanted to send a signal to Justin Trudeau on this issue. He was then asked if he set a limit on the number of additional asylum seekers that Quebec could accept.

” No no no. Let’s be clear, there, I think that Quebec, with 40,000 irregulars in the last year, I think we did our part for a while, “he said.
