Another demonstration by Palestinian groups against Israel’s policy in Berlin has been announced. The title refers to the “expulsion of the Palestinian people by Israeli occupation in 1948” and the recent killing of a journalist in clashes. Shirin Abu Akle was shot dead on May 11 during an Israeli military operation in the occupied West Bank.

The demonstration is to take place this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. on Hermannplatz. 200 participants have registered. Such demonstrations were recently banned because of possible outbreaks of violence and anti-Semitic slogans. That is currently not known, said a police spokesman on Friday.
