LAS VEGAS — The World collection of Poker intends to come back to reside, in-person play to get a nearly eight-week championship in Las Vegas later this year, parent firm Caesars Entertainment Inc. said Thursday.

Organizers say they expect the case, held as 1970 in Las Vegas, will go back into pre-pandemic shape and draw as many entrants since the listing 187,000 players it hosted 2019 in Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. A year before, it brought nearly 124,000.

Ty Stewart, WSOP executive director, said the aim is for gamers to acquire COVID-19 vaccines, traveling to Las Vegas,”and deliver this community of poker fans together.”

In 2020, the occasion embraced a hybrid format because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Perform this season is scheduled Sept. 30 to Nov. 23. The most important event, a 10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, is anticipated to start Nov. 4 and run through Nov. 17.
