General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of U.S. Army, informed the congressmen that Kiev could be overthrown in 72 hours.
Fox News was told by multiple sources that General Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the nation’s highest-ranking officer in military, said this to Congress in the event of a “complete Russian invasion” of Ukraine.

According to reports, Milley stated this statement to congressmen during the briefing behind closed doors held on February 2, and 3.

He stated that 15.000 Ukrainian soldiers and 4.000 Russian soldiers could be killed if there was an invasion.

Fox News reports that several congressmen were concerned that Washington didn’t respond quickly enough to provide significant military support to Ukraine. Officials said however that substantial military assistance could be used to justify a Russian attack.

According to Fox News, U.S. Secretary Of State Antony Blinken was among those who attended the briefings, as well as Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
