A truck overturned on the Berlin city motorway A100 in Berlin-Charlottenburg on Tuesday evening at the Kurfürstendamm exit. It is not yet known how the accident happened.

As the Berlin fire brigade told the Tagesspiegel, one person from the truck was slightly injured and taken to a hospital. No other vehicles appeared to be involved.
According to the fire department, the truck was loaded with general cargo that fell onto the roadway during the accident. The clean-up work is still ongoing.
The fire department was alerted at around 8:45 p.m. A total of 28 forces were deployed. There are currently 18 emergency services on site.
According to the Berlin police, the northbound motorway is completely closed. The police and fire brigade have not yet been able to say how long the clean-up work and the full closure will last. (tsp)
