Because of an overhead line fault, a regional train was evacuated on an open route in southern Brandenburg on Friday afternoon. A tree fell on an overhead line between Cottbus and Calau in the afternoon, as a railway spokesman said.
The train on line 43 in the direction of Herzberg could no longer continue due to the disruption. About 20 passengers were guided from the train to the street with the help of the fire department.
