After the fifth matchday of the Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich is no longer the leader of the table. SC Freiburg took the top spot on Saturday with a 3-2 (0-1) win at Bayer Leverkusen. The Munich came in the top game

at 1. FC Union Berlin not more than 1: 1 (1: 1).

At the top behind Sport-Club, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern and Union, 1. FC Köln remains after a 4-2 (3-1) win at VfL Wolfsburg. Bottom VfL Bochum lost 0:2 (0:0) against Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04 separated 1:1 (1:1).

In the twelfth minute, Sheraldo Becker gave Berlin the lead with a direct acceptance after a free kick, Joshua Kimmich (15th) quickly equalized. The game flattened out a bit in the second half, with both teams struggling to create convincing scoring chances.

Kerem Demirbay (16th) met first for Bayer Leverkusen. Shortly after the break, however, Matthias Ginter (48th) and Michael Gregoritsch (51st) gave Freiburg the lead for the first time before Patrik Schick (65th) scored again to equalize in the meantime. Ritsu Doan (72nd) brought the sports club forward again.

In Wolfsburg, Lukas Nmecha (2nd) gave VfL an early lead after assisting Bartol Franjic. But Dejan Ljubicic (22′) and Wolfsburg’s Paulo Otávio (32′) scored an own goal to turn the game in favor of FC. Florian Kainz (45. 2) even followed up. Lukas Nmecha (79′) briefly made the game exciting again before Sargis Adamyan (81′) made the decision.
