Greco-Roman style Nasir Abdullayev brought to the Russian team another award of the European championship, which takes place in Rome. In weight category to 67 kg, he won a silver medal.
In the final match 28-year-old Russian lost to the representative of Norway Morten Toresen. The duel ended with the score 2:2, however, the Norwegian was awarded the victory on the last action.
