A teenager was stabbed Saturday night during an argument involving several people in Montreal.

The 17-year-old victim is now out of danger.

According to information from the Montreal Police Service, the conflict broke out shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of rue Bélanger and rue Fabre.

On the spot, the emergency services located a teenager injured in the upper body by a stab. No arrests were made immediately.

The suspects had fled before police arrived.

The investigation is continuing to shed light on the circumstances of the dispute. The canine unit has been dispatched to the scene and investigators are working to collect images from surveillance cameras.
