In a wooded area 50 kilometres southwest of Berlin in a mysterious, derelict building is complex. The beelitz sanatorium, originally a Sanatorium for tuberculosis patients, are now a popular backdrop for filmmakers and photographers. The odd-looking terrain, witness to an eventful past: The houses were used in times of war as a military hospital and later as a Russian military hospital. The documentary tells the story of the “Brandenburg magic mountain”.
