In a pilot project, the Lichtenberg District Office is testing free donation with twelve donors, including in the Citizens’ Registration Office, in the library, in neighborhood facilities and in schools.

If the project proves itself, the Berlin Senate Department for Urban Development wants to examine whether this should be implemented for buildings that are open to the public in particular.

This emerges from the response of the Senate finance administration to a request from the SPD MP Jan Lehmann, which was published on Tuesday.
