In the case of the Renault and Ex-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn could be dismissed by the also imprisoned Nissan-Manager, Greg Kelly might soon be out of detention. A court in Tokyo upheld a request for the release of the 62-year-old U.S. citizen against a Deposit of 70 million Yen (632.000 euros). The public Prosecutor may appeal against it, nor appeal.

Kelly and Ghosn were at 19. November in Tokyo on suspicion of violation of stock exchange requirements. The former close associate of longtime Nissan chief Ghosn is accused of Ghosn helped to have parts of his or her income not truthfully declared.

The order for release on bail was made after a video address by Kelly’s wife. In it, she was “extremely concerned about his health”. Kelly had to according to Reports, prior to his arrest, to undergo an Operation. His wife had said also that her husband had been lured to Japan and become a victim of a power struggle of Nissan managers.

Renault chief Ghosn will, however, be left for the time being. A court in Tokyo had his remand in custody up to and including 1. January extended. Ghosn should for years be declared a low income, to be personally on the company’s capital Nissan-enriched and a personal investment loss of $ 16 million on the company killed.

Since Ghosn has been arrested, moved the auto Alliance of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The Manager was for many years the driving force behind the Alliance. While Ghosn was dismissed because of the financial scandal at Nissan, and Mitsubishi all of his Offices, he must leave his post of CEO at Renault so far, however, only rest.
