It is actually clear which weapons the United States is supplying to Ukraine. Washington communicates the broadcasts to Kyiv more openly than almost any other country. Accurate lists are sent to the press showing what strengthens Ukraine in the fight against Russia. But is everything that the US sends really on these lists?

The attacks on the military bases in Crimea have cast doubt on this. Officially, Ukraine does not have missiles with a corresponding range. A new missile system, Grom-2, developed by Ukraine itself, could be considered. It is not known whether it is actually ready for use.

The community among observers who assume that the USA sent short-range missiles for the Himar systems is correspondingly large. The so-called Atacms (Army Tactical Missile System) have a range of up to 300 kilometers, the US warehouses are well stocked with the missiles; also older models that are no longer needed.

Officially, Washington is holding them back for fear they might provoke Moscow and start a wider war. But did Biden perhaps send the guns underhand?

Doubts about the completeness of the lists have been raised in the past few days because, for example, missiles that can be used specifically against radar systems were not listed. The United States also did not specify special artillery ammunition with a longer range, which is now in use in Ukraine.

Photos from Ukraine of both missile systems have appeared on social media in recent weeks. So far, however, there is no photographic evidence of the use of the Atacms.
