Greek tennis player Maria Sakari defeated the first-seeded Belinda Bencic of Switzerland. After losing the first set with the score 2:6, Zaccari was stronger in the two following batches 6:4 and 6:3. The rivals have met on the court 2 hours 9 minutes.
