The precipitation of the past few days in some regions has brought little relief – the risk of forest fires in Brandenburg remains high. According to the Ministry of the Environment, the highest danger level five applied in four districts on Thursday, and the second highest level four in six others. Only for the districts of Havelland, Teltow-Fläming, Dahme-Spreewald and Oberspreewald-Lausitz was there a medium risk of forest fire (3). The levels are calculated based on precipitation, humidity, wind speed and temperature, among other things.
