FRIEDMAN: Well, I believe there is no question this relates to this battle involving Israel and Hamas and the way that it’s been exploited at the press and seem, folks in our government are leading and fueling the flames of anti-Semitism. They’re stoking the fires of anti-Semitism. And we are seeing this barbarous, poisonous type of anti-Semitism.
I mean, if you call Israel an apartheid state, when you draw up this kind of a malicious libel from the sole Jewish country on earth and you’ve got the next she [Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] has, what exactly did she think will take place? You understand, this is a person that has been completely free to criticize the intemperate language of the others. What she’s done more to stoke the fires of anti-Semitism by that quotation than anybody, anyone that I am aware of.
